It worked

But it didn't drown in a bathtub.

As do I. I think that it is horrible th t this is how so many flaws with our current government h ave come to light. I am glad for the fallacies that have been shown and certainly hope that some of the issues facing my country will get sorted out, but it's terrible that it took a tragedy like this to spark many people into action. Out of sorrow can come opportunity, I hope that the people seize it.

Man, Grover Norquist is a dummy. Did I say that? eek! Less government, a traditional GOP stance. But man, how in the hell did we end up with a Department of Homeland Security (like Nazi germany). The patriot act, and other adjustments to our civil liberties that hinder our private freedoms. Ah, the joys of being an American in the 21st century, putting the car into reverse we are. I can't wait til the next revolution!

The actions of the current regime don't necessarily reflect the typical GOP stance, that's for sure. As far as I can tell, if they don't like and can't control it, get rid of it. If it means more power to them, make it bigger. There's definitely a lot of backsliding going on, count me in on the revolution.
